Progressive Trade Fees

The core functionality of Covesting copy-trading is the replication of all trades placed by a Manager of a Strategy by every Following of the Strategy. This allows many Followers to benefit from copying a successful Manager of a Strategy.
However, filling orders for Strategies with a significant amount of Followers’ Equity can lead to considerable price slippage due to a rapid depletion of order books of our liquidity providers upon order execution. This price slippage has to be taken into account by Managers whose Strategies have significant current Equity in Followings.
Because price spread and slippage may vary widely due to constantly changing market conditions, and to make it more transparent for Strategy Managers, Proinvestmentfx absorbs the risks of varying liquidity and transfers the price slippage into fixed trade fees on Covesting.
A Manager's effective trade fee in a Strategy will depend on the current Followers' Equity of the Strategy only. The trade fee in a Strategy will increase as the Followers' Equity grows due to the Strategy's performance or new Followers joining it and it will decrease if the Followers' Equity decreases. At the same time, the price spread will depend on the Manager's order amount only, and will not be affected by the Follower's Equity.
